Carbon reduction plan
A Carbon Reduction Plan validates your business’s commitment to achieving Net Zero by 2050 at the latest, in line with the UK Government’s commitment under the Climate Change Act.
Utilizing the carbon emission data derived from your business’s carbon footprint, we are committed to collaboratively crafting a practical and customized Carbon Reduction Plan. This initiative aims to assist your business in proactively transitioning towards a more sustainable, zero-carbon future.
The Carbon Reduction Plan is a strategic document of elevated significance, encompassing a summary of past carbon footprint assessments (if applicable), meticulously pinpointed carbon reduction targets, and clearly outlined actions designed to facilitate the accomplishment of your business’s set goals. It is imperative to revisit and update this plan at least on an annual basis.
Emissions Emissions
It is crucial to recognize that Scope 3 emissions constitute a substantial portion, potentially up to 80%, of business total carbon emissions. These emissions are categorized into 15 distinct classifications as defined by the GHG Protocol Corporate Reporting and Accounting Standard.
As part of the Carbon Reduction Plan process, our business is obligated to outline emissions specifics for five of these categories or establish a target date for the future calculation of Scope 3 emissions.
